Meet Kelley

I'm Kelley Hassanpour, a Nurse Psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience supporting women. I am the founder of Parenting From Within. I have worked in a number of Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) across the GTA, both as a bedside Nurse and as a Clinical Educator. I then transitioned to supporting women through major life transitions as a Nurse Psychotherapist — deciding to become a parent, becoming a parent, parenting, and perimenopause — the full arc of the reproductive lifespan, from fertility through menopause. As a late-identified Autistic myself, I have a particular love for working with late-identified Autistic and ADHD women, many of whom find these transitions to be the time when their own neurodivergence starts to come into focus.

I work with women who are ready to move beyond coping skills and into deeper parts work. Symptom management and coping strategies have their place, but real, lasting change comes from going deeper. My approach is warm, non-judgmental, and practical, helping clients feel less alone while doing the work that gets to the root of what they're carrying.

I practice from an Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens and have completed the Stepping Stones and Stepping Deeper programs through IFSCA. I am also the co-founder of IFS Pathways: IFS Training for Perinatal Providers. I work with female-identifying clients who are specifically seeking IFS-oriented therapy, including other mental health practitioners who want to explore their own parts in a thoughtful and supported way.

I see clients virtually across Ontario, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Quebec, Monday through Friday between 9am–3pm EST. My rate is $160 for a 50-minute session.

Outside of my practice, I live with my neurodivergent child, my husband, and our chocolate lab, Charlie. You'll usually find me outside frolicking amongst the rocks, trees, and lakes.
